Revelstoke Dogsled Adventures

My favourite part about my job is that I’m always learning about new things with new people. From how to grow sprouts, to the rules of ringette, and rafting down the Columbia River, everyday is a new adventure. And every once in a while, a project comes up that is a real dream come true.
Once again my friends at Revy Web Design were commissioned to re-build their website to make it easier for guests to book tours. They called me in to take photos for the site and, get this you guys, I got paid to play with puppies.
I first visited the family run Revelstoke Dogsled Adventures kennel this summer to capture a taste of their kennel tours. It also happened to be right as their new puppies were at their absolute cutest. I couldn’t get over how playful and snuggly they all were!
Fast forward to winter, and I was able to join owner Eric and a couple of his staff on a sled ride with two teams of dogs. It was fascinating to watch the process of running dogs first hand and learn from Eric and his team about the joys of mushing. And of course the dogs were just as eager to receive all the pets and give all the kisses.
