Flashback Film

A year ago I put a role of 35mm film into my grandfather's Olympus OM-10.  I used it sporadically over the next few months as it would catch my eye from its spot on my desk. Last week I decided it was time to finally develop the film and be reminded of what I captured.  It was like opening up a little time capsule as I scanned the images (with a very dusty scanner, apparently) and was reminded of joyful experiences and how much has changed in just a year.  I'm thinking I might have to make a tradition out of this.  One roll a year, to be developed each March, because not much exciting happens in March.

Below is a typical day in my first year Visual Perception and Design class, one of my favourite views in Ottawa, a friend reading poetry at her book release, and some Westboro Beach hangs.
